Basically a Tom Collins but with bourbon, right? For me the flavor of the bourbon wasn’t balanced out enough (but I’m not a big bourbon fan), and the soda water made it taste odd for some reason. Not really a winner.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz tequila, 1/4 oz agave nectar, 1/2 oz lime juice, 2 3/4 oz lime-flavored sparkling water. Combine ingredients in a glass with ice and stir.

This wasn’t too bad. It was refreshing and had a low alcohol content. Still, I’d rather drink a margarita.
Pernod martini
Ingredients: 2 oz gin, 1/2 oz dry vermouth, 1 dash of Pernod. Use the Pernod to coat the inside of a chilled glass, then stir gin and vermouth with ice and strain into glass.
