Thin Man martini

Ingredients: 2 1/2 oz gin, 1/2 oz dry vermouth. Combine in a glass with 5-6 ice cubes. Let sit while you cut out a lemon peel, drop 3 drops lemon juice into a martini glass, 3 drops bitters, then spread around the inside of the glass with the lemon peel. Leave the peel in the glass, stir the alcohol with the ice for 30 seconds, then strain into the prepared glass.

I really really liked this variation on the martini, even though the addition of lemon makes it taste not-so-much like a martini (but maybe that’s a good thing for some). Also, it was a little dry for me personally, but that’s easy to fix.
