Ingredients: 2 oz light Jamaican rum, 1 oz + 1 tsp lemon juice (you’re supposed to use lime, but I never have limes on hand), 1/2 oz simple syrup. Shake with ice and strain into a glass.
Why did it take me so long to make daiquiris? I think it was because whenever I thought of daiquiris, I thought of those bright blue slushies you get at Red Lobster. Those are a total waste of time. But the classic daiquiri is super-duper easy to make, and absolutely delicious. I definitely approve of this drink!
